On Sunday, far-left American Federation of Teachers President Randi Weingarten admitted she shared a fake list of Florida’s ‘banned books.’

But it turns out the list was fake news.

On Sunday, Weingarten tweeted, ”Books we have taught for generations!” The list, shared by Twitter user Freesus Patriot, included “The Grapes of Wrath,” “The Catcher in the Rye,”  ”To Kill a Mockingbird,” ”The Lord of the Flies,” and “The Color Purple.”

”I should have double checked before I retweeted this list. My bad. Looks like some of the books weren’t banned. Book bans are very real and dangerous,” Weingarten tweeted

Weingarten seems to have made a habit of sharing fake information.  In April, Weingarten shared a made up a completely made up Chris Rufo quote and posted it to Twitter.
