According to reports Darya Dugina, the daughter of Putin ally Alexander Dugina, was killed in an explosion outside of Moscow.

Russian media are saying Alexander Dugina was the target of an assassination attempt, but his daughter was killed instead.

Darya Dugina was reportedly on her way home from a festival when her Toyota Land Cruiser was blown up.

Alexander Dugina was supposed to be in the Land Cruiser with his daughter but changed vehicles at the last second, according to Russian media.

The Daily Mail reported:

The daughter of the Ukraine war mastermind – dubbed Vladimir Putin’s ‘Rasputin’ – has reportedly been killed in a car bombing that was meant to take out her father.

Darya Dugin was ‘blown to pieces’ in a Hollywood-style ‘assassination plot’ near the village of Bolshiye Vyazyomy, on the outskirts of Moscow on Saturday night.

The hit was reportedly meant for her father Alexander Dugin, 60, who had planned to travel back with her from a festival, before deciding to take a separate car.

Footage allegedly taken at the scene shows Darya’s Land Cruiser Prado engulfed in flames by a roadside with at least one fire truck in attendance.

Her father Alexander is often called ‘Putin’s brain’ or ‘philosopher’ due to his close relationship with the warring president.

He is the former chief editor of the staunchly pro-Putin Tsargrad TV network and is said to be the mastermind of the ongoing Ukraine invasion.

Denis Pushilin, head of the breakaway Donetsk People’s Republic in eastern Ukraine, branded the authors of the ‘attack’ ‘vile villains’.
